Project Description:

• Develop a 200,000 square foot office building above an existing seven story parking garage on behalf of Washington University.

Project Challenge:

• Overcome existing structural limitations within an urban setting to create academic space to suit within the existing defined campus.

New Perspective Solution:

• Design and construct an eight story building on top of an existing parking garage.
• Coordinate many different academic groups and manage an extremely complex project.
• Complete the project ahead of the University's original best anticipated schedule by 18 months.

Today:

• The new $42 million facility opened in September 2006, approximately 12 months ahead of schedule.
